Wellness Vs. Health... Do you know the difference?

You may boast a clear bill of health from your doctor but what about the 2 little brown pills you need just to get out of bed?  How about when you go to your favorite taco shop and forget your antacids at home?  We are a society riddled with aches and pains we just can't seem to shake.  Our doctor is of no use, so where can you turn?

As these "sub-clinical illnesses" become more prevalent, medical research is turning from breakthrough life-saving cures and focusing on more profitable over-the-counter medication that mask the symptoms of a life out of balance.  Recent studies report that the entire Primary Care model needs to be re-organized due to an unprecedented amount of (preventable) chronic conditions.   A life in motion, that addresses not just physical activity but overall lifestyle harmony, is the only proven method of getting to the root cause of the problem. 

The good news is that our bodies possess a great potential for self healing.  We need only learn to listen to our "body language" when it sends us cries for help.  This movement is the means by which one can re-learn to explore the capabilities and limits of the human body and return to a life in balance.
